Are you regulated?
Yes. We are registered with HMRC for supervision under the Money Laundering Regulations, we are a Companies House Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP), and we are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office for data protection.
Why do you need to verify my identity?
As an MLR-registered firm and ACSP we must carry out identity and anti-money-laundering checks before acting for a company. It takes a few minutes online.
What counts as dormant?
No significant accounting transactions during the year. Companies House fees and payment for shares on formation are excluded. Bank charges usually are not, so ask us if you are unsure.
Do I need to file a tax return?
Only if HMRC has issued a notice to file. Dormant Complete covers the nil CT600 in that case.
What is the £50 fee?
Companies House's statutory fee for the confirmation statement. We charge it at cost and show it separately.
Can I switch from another provider?
Yes. Provide your Companies House authentication code and we review the filing history before taking over.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time before renewal. Filings already paid for are always completed.
